Santiago Calatrava, the architectural genius whose acclaimed works can be found throughout the world, was present at the Olympic Museum (Lausanne-Switzerland) for a conference. Going through his wonderful creations, the audience has had the opportunity to see and to appreciate how an architect, engineer and artist has been able to contribute greatly to the success of the Olympic Games, creating the communcations tower for the Barcelona Games, the futuristic vault of the Olympic stadium and the dazzling velodrome roof in Athens.
Santiago is now working on an ambitious and spectacular project in Italia: the Tor Vergata University (Roma II), developing a sport-city on the site.
